He is far away…
The newborn was laying playfully in His lap. So secure and safe…
Just then he saw a butterfly…colorful and bright…
He rushed behind it trying to catch it with his little hands.
Years passed by…
The newborn turned into a young child…curious and full of life.
The butterfly still flying high with even more colors…
Years passed by…
The young child turned into a youth…strong and energetic.
Still the butterfly was out of his reach. Flying up in the sky and shining even
brighter…
Years passed by…
The youth turned into a householder…rich, experienced but less energetic than
before.
The butterfly seemed closer and he continued his chase…
Years passed by…
The householder turned into an old man…weak and fragile.
The butterfly was colorful and brighter than ever before…very close…
Almost within his reach!
Hurray! At last he grabbed it…
But suddenly the butterfly fell down…dead and lifeless.
A breeze came tearing its soft wings apart…
Pain and anguish rushed into his mind.
With his legs shaking the old man looked back at Him for help and support.
And to his shock realized that He is far away…
